stretching!

blowout: grosss huh?

the past couple of months I've consider stretching my ear lobes. since i don't wear to many hoop or earrings that dangle ( i love studs) why not ? when i told my mom about my new choice ,she surprising pushed it off like i was talking bout a TV program. which is gives me a green light.right? i think it does! yeeeeeee! of course i ve been doing my research on this. i decide to got with the size 4 its small but still noticeable....with anything there is always side effects,with this process..called BLOWOUT: bruising, swelling,bleeding, and lumps or extra skinn..gross right..i try to post a video but i cant figure out how *kanye shrug*

so with school fast approaching, what do can i do in my spare time.......hhhmmmm.i've been watching a lot do-it-yourself of YouTube videos and there very inspiring...the stuff people come up with is crazy... but here is my list of my projects :

1. Chanel logo screen t-shirt

2. wall decor

3.headbands( my new obsession )

4.lemon tea scrub/body relaxing

5.colored pencil vase

just a few ideas, I'm such a lazy person so maybe working on projects is a push to help me get a more productive attitude.we will see guys!

iam barbie.

i think we are all aware of the popular saying every girl is saying now: "im barbie bitch!", which has been adopted from the great nicki minaj...... but i think we are takening this barbie meaning out of contexts....allow me to adress the problems in with this saying:

1.Barbie true purpose:

barbie purpose is to represent a woman (in whatever color) and a role model, even tho she was created out of a fictional porn comic book character in europe(but thats besides the point) that is capable of doing anything she set her mind to.... the problem :how can you be a role model when you following a rapper who is obessed with barbie,the majority of these females running around here saying they are, have not a damn thing going for them.to busy trying to memorize nicki's latest songs and not their english homework.....solution: realize nicki is getting paid,you're NOT!( i love her but i know she just a rapper and cant make me any real money)

2.when the trend is over :

what makes you different from the next girl calling herself barbie,you just become like the toy.just another edition with the same catchy slogan.i wouldnt say youre fake but you cant really think this is a lifestlye. all the glitz nad glam is provide to her by her makers or in her fictional world she goes out and gets it. question yourself , how do i providefor myself? and am i going be walking around 30 years old calling myself barbie? ummmm i hope you have postive answers. the trend is over ladies. im speaking for the people who have to listen to you say you're a barbie.

but always remeber that the best character in life is yourself(dammm that sounded good)

whoa.damn that was a long break from blogging. well since ive been "excuse" out of class ill blog lol. sooooo i was at the movies with my maja and i seen a preview to this new movie called "precious " based on the book push by sapphire. its about this over wieght girl who faces not being able to read , fighting the abuse with her mom and having a child by her father. its pretty good book. but im more juice on the movie.cant wait

fashion icon

going to fashion school we always get ask the same question by our teachers the first day: "who is your fashion icon?" some pple always says "my grandma" "coco chanel" "ysl" . i always have a "?". but ive lately been thinking whats one person who i thought had the best style since i realize i like clothes : kelis. that bitch is too bad. its not like she overly pretty but she far from ugly. like her curly hair. i would sit in my mom hairshop with rollers tryna get it to be soft curls. every would laugh like you not going like it. but whatever i was hard headed and would sit under the dryer for hours just to get there. i got close but i just look like lil annie( the broadway musical) lol. kelis would have to be my fashion icon bcuz that bitch dont stop!and her man is mind blowing

spring brings joy to devinmarie.

so im juiced. i ve been waiting all winter for spring and this is a good way to start it.hellz bellz has lanch their spring collection.yee yee! i was juice bout mttm but when i seen it i really didnt think i would be wearing it. but it still cute.. i just like the creator of mttm bucz she talks alot of shit. but anyways back to the subject at hand. hellz bellz is most ef going to be filling up my closet this year.their collection is called " culture clash" i thinks its most def a clash between pop art,grunge,and street wear.im toooooooo fucking jucie! so like i said to all the swagg jockers(aye! i see you Q) im leading out my swagg this one time.bcuz i know ya hoes cant rock as hard as me! lmao.cop that shit homie
